Description
This course fulfills the Bright from the Start DHR requirement for training new educators on identifying, preventing or reporting cases of child abuse or neglect.
Needs Assessment
Participants will gain a better understanding of what they can do to prevent abuse and how important their responsibility as early childhood educators is in the safety of our children. They will learn state protocol, national laws and other pertinent information that builds awareness of child abuse and neglect in the classroom and community. Early childhood educators will understand how abuse is defined and learn ways to identify and report abuse in case the situation arises.
